Course summary
This course is designed for leaders at every level: headteachers, deputies, senior and middle leaders, phase and subject leads, SENCOs, safeguarding and digital leads, and governors. Schools are encouraged to send a small team with mixed roles.
Most schools are already dealing with AI: in homework and assessment, in staff workload, in questions from parents. Few yet have a shared view of what they want from it. This course is for the people who have to decide.
It is built around the questions every school leader now faces. It moves from understanding what AI changes, to deciding what your school stands for, to planning how to get there and putting it into practice in structured, manageable steps, with decisions based on evidence and known risks that every leader can stand behind. Leaders work on their own school's situation throughout and test their thinking against colleagues from other countries. They leave with the beginnings of a strategy, not a list of tools.
During the week, the group visits a local school to see how leaders in another European system are handling policy, staff development and communication with families in practice.
